I am the proud owner of a really gaudy pair of Nocona Boots. I bought them right before I came to Honk Kong for the first time in 1991. I have worn these boots almost everyday since that time. They have been resoled multiple times and are just about the best pair of boots that anyone could ever want. I put the picture of them here because unless I am engaged in an activity that precludes wearing boots (i.e. riding a bicycle, playing volleyball), or wearing short pants, If you ever see me then you'll probably see the boots.

My reply was, "I need some boots that are gaudy, with riding heels, have really tall shanks and with pointed toes."

He said, "I've got three outa four."
